Introduction to the work of the JOB INFO Centre Novi Sad
On July 25, 2025, a meeting was held on the topic: "Getting to Know the Work of the JOB INFO Center Novi Sad and the Ways in Which Career Guidance and Counseling Services Can Be a Resource in Working with Children and Youth."
During the event, the work of the JOB INFO Center Novi Sad was presented in cooperation with the Youth Work Center (CZOR) and the Youth Association Alliance OPENS. The aim of this collaboration is to support young people from marginalized groups in gaining employment and becoming independent, through activities such as career counseling, strengthening youth capacities for career management, and mediation with employers.
Special focus was placed on how these services can be useful to family counselors in their work with children and youth.
The presentation was delivered by social work students and career counselors at the Youth Work Center — Milica Lekić and Jovana Ivanović. The event was attended by employees from the Center for Social Work, SOS Children's Village, and the Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad.
