Training held: "Adoption - the voice of the child, the role of the adoptive parents and the task of the professional"
On April 23rd and 24th, a training course entitled: "Adoption - the voice of the child, the role of the adoptive parent and the task of the expert" was held in Mali Iđoš.
The goal of the training is to acquire and deepen professional knowledge in the field of adoption, while presenting the standards of work prescribed by law and bylaws.
This program had the purpose of empowering experts in working with children and families before, during and after adoption, presenting the challenges that arise in practice, as well as promoting a trauma-informed approach and placing the child at the center of the process.
The training was led by:- Marija Rajković, social worker, and Maja Petrović - lawyer, both employees of the Center for Social Work of the City of Novi Sad.
