Red Cross of Novi Sad provided free summer holiday for children from families in need.


The Red Cross of Novi Sad, in cooperation with the City Administration for Social and Child Protection and the Red Cross of Serbia, within the project "Programs and activities for helping children and youth in a state of social need", which has been successfully implemented since 2006, this year provided free holidays for children from families in a state of social need. In the shift from July 6 to July 15, 2018, 93 children of elementary school age will be accommodated, accompanied by 5 educators. The group consists of children whose parents are beneficiaries of the National Cuisine of the Red Cross of Novi Sad, children from the Day care for children and youth and safe children's homes of the Center for Social Work of the City of Novi Sad, the Center for Foster Care and Adoption of Novi Sad and the Children's Village "Dr Milorad Pavlović" from Sremska Kamenica.The Red Cross of Novi Sad has provided children with lunch packets for the trip, personal hygiene products, sunscreen as well as beach towels. The children's departure to the sea was attended by a member of the City Council for Social Protection and Care of the Family and Children Tihomir Nikolić, assistant to the Mayor Ljiljana Koković and others.
